The Penguin Poet

Andrew Kreider, Penguin Poet.
Why a penguin? People often ask... Well, for this stage in my life, it seems the penguin has been given as my symbol. The (mostly) flightless bird that stays home and takes care of the young - highly acrobatic, able to move from land to water, at ease and a bit humorous, symbolic of intrigue and of the blending of light and shade - some people even see the penguin as symbolic of astral projection! As a penguin poet, I love to glide through familiar waters, looking at them with different eyes, and willing to swim a bit off the conventional course - for fun, or to help people think in a different way.
My poetry is updated weekly on my blog: Penguin Poems.

answers like socks

A brand-new collection of thirty-two poems, together with four new songs, all written in 2010-11.
And then there's some extra musical goodies interspersed as well.
All gathered together in one smart slim volume.
With a CD tucked in the back of me reading/performing the entire book.
The whole project is conceived as a kind of radio show, and it turned out VERY COOL.
